The majority of non-Steam games installed using Steam will be located at C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common. Make sure that you delete the folder from the original location. Move the folder from your Steam directory to the SSD. I first used this method (after a lot of searching) back when Fallout 3 was released, and it has only done wonderful things for me. However, here is an easy way to transfer only the files and folders you want to your SSD so that you can take advantage of your SSD's benefits while still conserving space. Steam makes this difficult because all games installed with Steam install to the Steam folder, and the majority of people don't have their Steam folders on their SSDs due to space restrictions.
